Countryside Pet Grooming, L.L.C. business owner, Heather Dabney, is a professional groomer of 18 years. She is the proud parent of two children, Austin and Sierra. Her favorite pastimes are hiking with her dog Hawkeye, reading, trips to the beach, and cruising. She is an advocate for the grooming industry and continuing education among local groomers.

Morgan Diehl
Full-Time Groomer
Morgan joined our team in March of 2021 after 6 years of professional grooming experience. She lives in Stuarts Draft with her Boyfriend, Russ, and their son, Jase. Her other son is a black lab named Opie. Morgan enjoys bowling and going to the racetrack in her free time. Her specialties are elderly dogs and “nervous nellies”.

Madison Nicely
Full-time Groomer
Madison has been on our team off and on since 2015. She was our first official employee. Madison lives in White Hall with her grandfather and pup Diesel. She enjoys video games and spending time with friends and family. She is a 2025 graduate of Paragon School of Pet Grooming.

Shannon Dykes
Full Time Bather/Brusher
Shannon joined us in March of 2023. She previously worked in a dog daycare facility for six years, where she managed and cared for hundreds of pets. Shannon plans to pursue a grooming career in the near future. She lives in Scottsville with her husband and their pitbull, Turbo. She enjoys all outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking.

Summer Carlsen
Part-time bather
Summer is a Virginia Tech student studying in applied behavioral science. She currently works two days a week with us while also working as a trainer at Canine Campus. She enjoys hiking with her 3 dogs and spending the day on the lake.
Credentials: CPR and First Aid certified. Fear Free certified
Aleesha Wells
Receptionist
Aleesha is our newest team member. She joined us in August 2025 after six years at a local dog daycare.
