Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
How Do You Dry The Dogs?
Every dog is hand dried with a high velocity dryer or fluff dryer. In the event that your pet does not tolerate the dryers, we will not further stress them, and allow them to air dry after thoroughly towel drying them.
We never use cage dryers.
How Long Does It Take? Can I Stay?
We typically allow for a 3 hour appointment window. Your groomer will tell you if it is expected to take longer or shorter. Times are always approximate.
Due to COVID precautions, we are not allowing any owners to stay at this time.
How Do I Make An Appointment?
The best way to make an appointment is to give us a call at (434)- 823- 7002.
Facebook messages and email are checked daily, however appointment times often fill up through calls before we can respond.
Can I Schedule In Advance?
YES! In fact, we highly encourage re-booking at checkout to ensure that you are able to maintain your pets grooming schedule and secure the availability of the day and time that you would like.
We also offer a 5% discount for your next visit when you re-book your appointment during checkout, for a 6 week or less time period.
Why Are You Closed On Weekends?
Our team consists of four hardworking team members. We will make every effort to work around your schedule, however ensuring time for family is an incredibly important value for our small staff. Thank you for your understanding!
When should I schedule my puppies’ first visit?
We recommend starting puppies as early as 12 weeks old. It may take 2-3 “Happy visit” appointments for a dog to be ready for a full haircut. We will not do a full haircut on a puppy without at least one puppy trim. Please remember that although we love them like family members, they are still dogs. It takes patience and training for them to understand what we are trying to do for them. Safety is always our top priority.
